9th Annual Community Cuts For Kids Extravaganza | Families

Radio Mogul Craig Blac continues to build self-esteem to youth in our community by providing free haircuts and hairstyles in preparation for the new school year.

On August 15, 2010, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm, the 9th Annual Community Cuts for Kids will take place at 3 locations in the Metro area:

• Herbert Hoover Boys and Girls Club
• Monsanto YMCA
• (3rd Location TBD) in East St. Louis, IL

Community partners will also offer free health screenings to each child, along with book bags and other school supplies – all at no cost to the family.

In 2009, Community Cuts for Kids teamed up with several barbers, stylists, and cosmetology colleges to provide haircuts and styles to over 3,000 children in our community.

With the recent state of the economy, we are expecting more families than ever to be in attendance at one of the three CCFK locations.  Donations (of any size) will be graciously accepted.
